P: Often customers want to export raw data from PowerForce to Excel so that they can undertake further data manipulation.

A:

To export data from the Report Builder into Excel:

  • Select "Export to DOS" from the Report Builder menu
  • Save your file as a ".txt" type file

This will create a text "aligned" report, which you can subsequently load into Excel.

To input your "report.txt" tile into excel, follow these initial steps, and then import the data as per the Excel requirements.
