P: We've had a call from a customer indicating that a number of employees' accountants are not interpreting the "Allowances" correctly, and adding these in on top of the employee Gross, therein indicating that more tax is due.

 

A: We'd suggest that the employee get a new accountant, that understand the Tax laws. Meanwhile, to help overcome these limitations, you may alter your descriptions on the Allowances by following these steps.

The description field is what prints of the PAYG summary.
