Virus protect software and firewalls are often culprits in the correct working of applications, and the PowerForce application is one where you need to ensure that client and server side virus software does not interfere with certain files.
This section provides an overview of running a virus protection system on / in an environment where you also host PowerForce.
The PowerForce database files are generally stored in the same directory as the application and the database management tools. The tables are identified with the suffix .OV & .LK. Therefore, exclude all files with these two suffixes from being virus checked - they are data tables only.
