Q: Can one of you help me understand how this GUI

A:

Autosize width and height will change the size of the control as the window size is changed.

Right Anchor will make the control remain the same distance from the right hand side of the window

Bottom Anchor will do the same for the bottom edge of the window.

So generally, you would either autosize or anchor, or autosize one way and anchor the either. Eg autosize width and bottom anchor or autosize height and right anchor.

All controls have these four properties.
